The Rev. Lori Souder sponsored the resolution in support of changing the flag and seal of Massachusetts at South Hadley’s fall town meeting on November 30th, 2022.

She said, “It’s time we put South Hadley on the map!” on this issue.

The town meeting members overwhelmingly agreed with her. The resolution passed by a vote of 61 to 9.

That makes South Hadley the 56th town in the Commonwealth to vote in favor of changing the racist flag and seal of Massachusetts.
