Dear Friends and Supporters of Indigenous Rights:
The 50-year struggle to change the genocidal flag and seal of Massachusetts is coming to fruition now, and your attendance at the next meeting of the advisory commission to propose a new design for our state symbol is welcomed.
Thank you all for your hard work over many years in bringing us to this point.
Massachusetts needs to stand up and say to the country and the world at large that violence and the oppression of Native people will never again be tolerated, nor celebrated as the symbol of our Commonwealth.
